42% Tax Rates if You Make $55K in Greece

Currently, if you make the equivalent of $55,000 in Greece, your marginal tax rate is 42%.  For clients who think that tax rates on “middle” income earners could never go that high in our country, remind them of what I shared with you a few days ago:  debt per capita in our country is actually HIGHER than in Greece.  Seriously folks, how much longer can these historically low tax rates last?  It’s critical that we remind our clients of the importance of taking advantage of taxes while they are low by implementing strategies that utilize Roth IRA’s, Roth Conversions and Permanent Life Insurance.
