How to Spot a Counterfeit Copy of The Power of Zero

It recently came to my attention that The Power of Zero, like many other items on Amazon, is being counterfeited.  The counterfeit copies I’ve seen are rife with spelling errors on the back cover and have an internal layout that has a different font and a “cooked up in the garage” feel to it.  See the attached pictures contrasting the real book with the counterfeit (authentic on the left, counterfeit on the right). To avoid buying a counterfeit, might I make two suggestions:

  1. If you want a new copy(ies) of The Power of Zero, only buy copies from the Amazon.com option on the Amazon Power of Zero page.  Avoid other sellers whose low prices seem too good to be true.  (For example, the current sellers named Yale Oliver and safyjtybvnbnmtg are offering prices at the same price as Amazon, only slightly cheaper because they don’t charge tax.  They’re even being fulfilled by Amazon! When I ordered books from them, they had the above-mentioned irregularities, which leads me to believe they are one and the same person. )
  2. If you want to buy The Power of Zero in bulk, please go to thepowerofzerobook.com.  This is the only place on the internet where you can get bulk discounts.

Thanks!
